Well, in my research in last 5 years there has been 5 deaths on bounce houses and all by adults. Simply put, a bounce house was designed for children. When adults go in it, their inner superman comes out and they think they are invincible, add some beer and they are superhuman.

Here are some facts:

For anyone to play on an amusement ride, they should not be effected by drugs and alcohol. So how many adult parties are out there that this would not be the case.

Adults leave them alone. Parents always think that they can play with their kids inside the bounce house or support them while they are in there or help them play on the objects inside but more common than not the adult loses balance or falls over, landing on other children.

Many companies say that this is
suitable for adults - WRONG!
If a company supports that all people can play on their games then stay away from them. Construction of walls and doors are so different between equipment built for adults and built for children that it would scare you to understand the complexity of the engineering that goes in it.

There is no bounce house under 16 x 16 that should be used for adults.

How floors differ between adult and kids castles

ADULTS
Deep Bed "adults only" castle
Deep baffles to support more weight and provide more bounce
Kids feet get trapped in these deeper baffles & a common injury is a broken ankle.

KIDS
Smaller baffle
Adults would bottom out on this or need much more effort to bounce.

More Accidents When Kids Bounce With Adults!

Another round of accidents in America from Bounce House companies and indoor play facilities allowing lids to jump with adults.  This is prohibited in over 60 countries, why does the government in America condone it?
